So far the most powerful tuning package for the Ford Focus RS was the one by British tuner GGR with 370 hp. Now Germans, proving again that they are the masters of horsepower, have come up with a 401 power package for it! It is a creation of McChip dkr but they had to do more than just chip tuning this time!

In order to increase the Focus RS’ power from 305 to 401 and 612 nm of torque, McChip has installed an enhanced intercooler plus a new exhaust system. They’ve also done what they do best and that’s modifying the car’s electronics. Thanks to the extra power, The Focus RS becomes a serious performer in straight line, it can goes right up to 278 km/h.

This package costs 4,499 Euro, but if you are short on cash and really don’t need that much power in your life, McChip also offers a 799 Euro package which comes only with a modified ECU and has 345 hp. But even that is enough for a top speed of 271 km/h.
