First pictures of Mitsubishi RVR Crossover

A few weeks ago, Mitsubishi released some renderings of a new compact crossover vehicle, to be named later. Well, as it turned out, this new car is named Mitsubishi RVR, and will be launched in Japan in Spring 2010. It will also go on sale on other markets including North America. Being a compact crossover, the RVR is set to be a highly efficient utility vehicle.
Joining the range of Mitsu SUVs including Pajero and Outlander, the RVR will be approximately 4.3 meters long with a lightweight body for the sake of less fuel consumption. Power comes from a new 1.8 liter MIVEC petrol engine, but Mitsubishi has not yet announced any further details on it.
