Well, not actual pictures! They are a bunch of black & white prints made for EU’s patent office, but nevertheless, they’re quite revealing. And the first impression if indeed WOW! Not that it’s a very great looking car, but considering the model it will replace you have to say it’s really something! Kia is apparently caring more and more about its image recently. So there you go, 2011 Kia Sportage.

It is obviously following the same design language as the new Kia Sorento, so it’ll also be a uni-body crossover rather than a full on SUV. The thing is though, if the pricing for this car stays the same as the current gen, then it can hurt sales of its bigger bro, the Sorento! It’s like Kia is shooting one of its own legs.

Although it’s too soon to talk about the car’s technical specs, but it will probably get the same four-cylinder engines as the Sorento with the same gearbox options and AWD system.
