Honda and its in-house tuning arm Mugen has launched another exclusive and visually hot edition of the Civic Type R for the UK market. The type R MUGEN 200 is limited to 200 units and comes with a new body kit, wheels and badges for the sake of a distinctive appearance which is supposed to turn the geeky Civic into a mean machine!

The engine of this car remains the same as the original Honda Type R which means it has 201 hp, but it comes with a number of exclusicve features including:

• MUGEN front and rear bumpers with skirts
• 19-inch alloy wheels in ‘Lightning’ design
• MUGEN rear badge
• MUGEN Limited Edition number plaque
• Limited Slip Differential
• Championship White exterior paint
• Gloss black door mirrors

This car also has another purpose and that’s celebrating the launch of Honda’s BTCC team for 2010, continuing its long-standing relationship with Team Dynamics. Mugen 200 has the same color scheme as the BTCC racing machines.
