Subaru Impreza XV Crossover For Geneva Show

2010 subaru at Subaru Impreza XV Crossover For Geneva Show

Subaru announced today that they are developing a new version of their everlasting Impreza model for 2010 Geneva Motor Show, which unlike the other Imprezas we’ve seen so far is not a rally-bred sporty beast. Dubbed the Impreza XV, it’ll be a crossover vehicle based on the 5-door model and comes with a new front grille, wheel arch, specially equipped roof rails and a roof spoiler, more more crossoveriness!

Impreza XV will be powered by the firm’s 2.0-liter Horizontally-opposed petrol engine and the turbo BOXER DIESEL engine, both now covering Euro5 standards. Obviously it also gets Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system. (The picture above is a WRX Impreza, the compnay has not released any pictures of the XV yet!)

Subaru will also bring the Hybrid tourer Concept and the JDM-only Subaru Plug-in STELLA to the 80th Geneva Autoshow.
