Citroen DS High Lander Concept was revealed during the 2010 Geneva Motor Show back in March but only now the French company is ready to show us the interior of the car! And because we had to wait so long to see it, we thought it might feature something extraordinary. But no, it’s just an interior! Of course because it’s a Citroen, it’s cool and funky.
They say the the DS High Lander has a sporting luxury theme inside and that’s why it’s covered in two-tone leather, garnished with chrome detailing and has a large panoramic windscreen and dark-shaded roof lining.
The instrument panel, seats and door panels are all finished in a quality, full-grain leather with clearly defined over-stitching and a ‘bracelet’ design on the seats. The DS initials are also subtly embossed into the leatherwork of the dashboard.
Completing the dynamic ambience of the interior, chrome detailing is used around the dials, steering wheel, air vents, gear stick and the arch that connects the instrument panel to the console. Chrome ‘DS’ inserts also feature, positioned just below the headrests on each of the front seats.
Some of the features are very ghastly though, like the interior door panels which are trimmed with a graduated grey to gold shading to match the golden tone of the car’s bodywork! It’s not much of a car as it’s a handbag!
