Tran Star just came out of nowhere claiming they have the most amazing supercar of all time which is the best in terms of design and performance! The numbers they claim are quite remarkable: 2000 hp, 2000 ft lbs torque, top speed 300+ mph, quarter mile in under 6.7 seconds at 200 mph, o to 60 mph in under 1.5 seconds, and the price of all this just $450,000. Right!

This is going to be limited to 5 units apparently, with three of them already sold. And they say each is made with the highest standards with off-the-shelf racing components. It’s based on the mid-engine platform of Corvette Cheetah Concept.

It’s all great, but the thing is even Bugatti or Ferrari don’t dare to claim such numbers so easily and they have huge resources at their disposal. Now if TranStar could make this thing all on their own, it’s quite an achievement! Bugatti should go to them and learn how to make real supercars, not pathetic things like that Veyron with its miserable 1000 hp!
