Hyundai and Red Bull were really confident they are going to break the 10-minute world record of Pikes Peak with the new purpose-built RMR Hyundai Genesis PM580 and with Rhys Millen himself at the wheel. But they failed, quite badly! He managed to set a time of 11 minutes and 6 seconds. But they’ve learned their lessons and promised that next year they will do it!
