SEAT UK announced a new special edition of the Leon FR+ Supercopa model. This version of the hot hatch is designed to look even more like the actual racing car SEAT Sport fields in the World touring Car Championship. The car is based on the FR trim level, but as that plus in its name suggests, it come with more equipments.

Visually, the FR+ Supercopa features re-worked front and rear bumpers, smart side skirts, a more pronounced tailgate spoiler, bespoke BBS 18-inch alloy wheels and unique chrome-tipped, twin exhausts. The new elements are complemented by the new colors available for the car, including Nevada White, Emoción Red and Speed Blue.

The Supercopa can be had with either of the powerful 2.0 TSI 211 PS petrol or 2.0 TDI CR 170 PS turbodiesel engines. But regardless of the engine you get a long list of standard kit including SEAT Media System 2.2 which includes satellite-navigation with five-inch colour touchscreen and dynamic route guidance, DAB radio, Bluetooth audio streaming and SD card slot; Bluetooth phone connection; bi-xenon headlights with AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System) and rear parking sensors.

As for the price, it starts from just £22,530 RRP for the 2.0 TDI 170 PS six-speed manual model, representing £3,000-worth of SEAT Sport body kit for just £750 more than standard versions,
