Mercedes released a bunch of new pictures, and a dramatic new promo video, of the new SL63, in hope that haters would change their mind about the car.

You see, we haven’t heard a single positive comment about the new SL63’s looks from day one. Well, to be honest with you, we haven’t heard a positive comment about the new 2013 Mercedes SL itself either. Wherever you go, in magazines, forums, blogs and YouTube, people are talking about how disappointed they are with the way the new SL looks.

The problem with the new SL might be Mercedes’ desire to make it like the SLS. They may have got a bit carried away. It’s a bit too like the SLS, you know. In fact, the only reason to buy this car is because you can’t afford the SLS. And that’s just not cool.
