The McLaren MP4-12C HS (High Sport) first appeared on the radar back in January. Now there’s a bunch of official pictures available, showing the car in full glory.

The High Sport is a sort of souped up MP4-12C made by McLaren’s special operations center, as a showcase of their capabilities. The HS is apparently limited to just 5 units, all of them seen in the picture above.

Design-wise, the McLaren MP4-12c High Sport is what the standard MP4-12C should have been. It get s different rear and front bumpers, new aerodynamic parts such as diffuser and spoilers, and new, bigger wheels. It looks sensational.

Whats more, the HS edition also benefits from an extra 75hp McLaren’s special operators have found in the bi-turbo V8. So basically, it’s a totally different car than the standard MP4.

If you’ve been thinking about getting an MP4, then you obviously want to make it an HS. But we’re afraid all of the five units have already been snatched, at a healthy premium over the normal car we guess.
