Following its first tuning kit for the 2012 Beetle, ABT Sportline announced a new engine upgrade kit with no less than 240 horsepower. Available for the  2 litre turbo engine, the program consists of some software tweakery and high-performance exhaust system includes two oval ABT rear mufflers for a gain of 40 PS (29 kW) over the standard unit.

You can also get a body kit for your Beetle, if you want to make it pop. For that ABT offers front spoiler, rear skirt insert, a tail spoiler and a set of side skirts. If you get the body kit, you should also get some new wheels, preferably ABT’s own DR or CR designs. These wheels are available from 18” to 20” and also in conjunction with the right sport tyres.

There’s also ABT brake calipers for more visual drama, and of course those stripes, which frankly make the car look more ridiculous than it already is.
