BMW USA added the latest M models to its online configurator, to make it easier for the customers to spec up their cars. The new BMW M5 and BMW M6 are both powered by a twin-turbo 4.4 liter V8 engine, developing 560 PS and 680 Nm of torque. M chassis, suspension, differential, brakes and body kit, these cars have got the lot. Pricing starts from $89,900 fro the M5 sedan and $106,100 for the M6 Coupe. The M6 Convertible runs for around $113,000.

Those are big price tags, and by the time you are done with the configurator, you are probably looking at much bigger ones. But they are kinda reasonable. BMW M cars are among the best-engineered cars in the world. And anyway, where the new and fairly ugly Mercedes SL63 starts at nearly 150 grand, the 100 grand M6 sounds like a bargain!
