Genesis vs Mustang at Track Test: Genesis Coupe vs Mustang V6

Forget about value, looks, and feel. Sports cars are all about numbers, whether you like it or not. The one with better numbers is the best, period. On this note, let’s check out Inside Line’s track test of the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 liter V6 versus the 2013 Ford Mustang V6. They hit the track to compare numbers, see how the new 350-hp Geni Coupe measures up against the entry-level Mustang.

The Genesis Coupe has always been the most sporty to drive in the V6-powered, rear-drive sports car segment in the American market. There’s not doubt the 2013 model has improved all the good things about the car. The problem with the Mustang is, if you want a Mustang, you get a GT. The entry-level V6 is a good car, but the only reason you should buy one of these is because you can’t afford a GT. And that’s just not cool.
