In its first official assignment the new Jaguar XF Sportbrake will take part in the prestigious Tour de France as support car for Team Sky. Jaguar made two bespoke versions of the Sportbrake for the team, fitted with customised roof racks, race radios, and TVs to follow the action. These cars will play a major role in the team’s success. They also look great which is a bonus point!

This special XF Sportbrake has been developed and adapted in close consultation between Jaguar and Team Sky. Its spacious and practical interior will take care of all the gear the team might need, while luxurious cabin will provide the principals with a fabulous place to work out of. those qualities, in addition to the effortless performance, make it the perfect car for the job.

With the XF’s help, Team Sky feels confident in its quest to win the legendary ‘yellow jersey’ of the Tour de France.

At a recent Millbrook test Team Sky Sports Director, Servais Knaven commented; “From the driver’s seat I have to make all the decisions, and fast. I need a car that can drive in all circumstances and I’m really excited about the new XF Sportbrake. I get a good feeling when I drive it. It’s versatile loaded with nine bikes, there is still space and it looks cool. I’d quite like to take it home.”
