Audi A7 is considered by may people as the ultimate daily driver; something that’s stylish, very well-made, well-equipped and special. But they’re wrong. The A7 is not the ultimate daily driver, because this is. The ABT-tuned A7, known as the AS7, not only looks the part, it also has the go-juice to match it. It is a refined version of a car that is brilliant in the first place.

This car has the new v8 engine, so to be precise it’s an S7. ABT has tuned that engine and got 100 hp (74 kW) more out of it. That means you know have 520 hp (382 kW) and an astonishing 650 Nm of torque to play with. And boy is it willing to play. 0 to 100 km/h is dealt with in about 4 seconds, and you can reach 290 km/h.

ABT hasn’t messed with the styling, and why would they, the car looks great as it is. They’ve just fitted it with a set of wheels. You have the choice of CR or DR alloy wheels in 20 or 21 inches. They can also provide a lower air suspension setting called ABT Level Control.

ABT says the ‘AS’ in this car’s name stands for “astonishingly sporty.” True that!
