Russia has always been an important market to Bentley, what with the great number of millionaires running around the market, ready to blow up big cash on cars. So they came loaded to the 2012 Moscow International Motor Show, with their latest and most exciting production models, including the new GT Speed, the GT V8 model, and the Mulsanne Executive.

At the top of the list is of course the Bentley Continental GT Speed, the current flagship. This road-going yacht features a 6-litre twin-turbocharged W12 engine developing 625 PS (616 bhp/460 kW) and 800 Nm of torque, delivered to all four wheels via a close-ratio, eight-speed automatic transmission. A unique chassis setup result in a very sporty drive without compromise on comfort.

Then we have the Continental GT B8, the most sensible version of the car, powered by a new 4.0 litre, twin turbocharged V8 capable of 500 bhp (507 PS / 373 Kw) and 660 Nm (487 lb ft). Despite lacking 125 bhp compared to the Speed, this car is still plenty fast with a 0-60 mph sprint time of 4.6 seconds for the GT coupe (0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds) and a top speed of 188 mph (303 km/h). The V8 is 40 percent more fuel efficient than the W12.

As for the Russian-friendly Mulsanne Executive Interior, the car is offered in two Specifications, Theater and iPad (the latter displayed at Moscow), for state?of?the?art multimedia connectivity on the move. The iPad version is aimed at the more business-oriented users, while the Theater is all about entertainment, offering a wide range of entertainment –DVD movies, television programmes, or music – which is offered via a 15.6-inch centrally located HD LED screen or 8-inch screens fitted within the front seat headrests. This one too comes with a boot-mounted Mac computer.
