Each year at the Moab Easter Jeep Safari Jeep reveals a bunch of cool concepts, but only a few of them will have the chance of getting produced. This year they’ve picked two of the concepts that received the greatest reviews for production. They include the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and Wrangler Moab. They will go on sale from October.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk you see here is a heavily tricked-out version of the tough SUV, and can be had with V6 and V8 engines, and a range of colors including Bright White, Brilliant Black, Mineral Gray, Maximum Steel and Deep Cherry Red.

Visually, the car is distinguished by its signature red Trailhawk and Trail Rated badging and tow hooks, black-surround headlamps and a unique gray on the grille surround, side mirrors, rear light bar, 4×4 badge and five-spoke 18-inch aluminum wheels. Inside the cabin it features black leather and performance suede seats with red accent stitching and Mopar slush floor mats front and rear.

It’s not all about the looks though. The Cherokee Trailhawk is also more versatile than standard models thanks to its upgrade package consisting of 18-inch Goodyear Silent Armor all-terrain tires with Kevlar reinforcement, Solid steel rock rail body protection, Quadra-Lift air suspension, with nearly 11 inches of ground clearance, and Selec-Terrain traction control system with five settings: Snow, Rock, Sand/Mud, Sport and Auto.

A Cherokee needs to be mechanically tough as well, which is why this version is fitted with Rear Electronic Limited-slip Differential – for V8 models – that can transfer up to 100% of engine’s torque to one rear wheel, and Quadra-Track II or Quadra-Drive II (V-8) with a two-speed transfer case. It is almost impossible to get this thing stuck.
