Every now and then BMW USA releases a special edition from the ‘Individual’ series, and more often than not they are just mildly tweaked versions of the standard car that cost a lot more. This new one though, the X6 Performance Edition, it seems to be worth the extra money as it comes with not only styling upgrades, but also more power.

The Performance Edition X6 comes with the M Performance Package for both the X6 xDrive35i and X6 xDrive50i engines. It adds +15 hp, +30 lb-ft of torque to the former, and a very impressive +40 hp, +30 lb-ft of torque to the latter.

As for the visual features, this version of the X6 benefits from BMW Individual Pearl Silver metallic paint, 20-inch Y-Spoke wheels, and black chrome exhaust tips. On the inside seats and doors are covered in Black Alcantara and Leather with Sakhir Orange contrast stitching, while BMW Individual Carbon Leather trims dominate the rest of the cabin.

The car also comes as standard with the Premium package, Cold Weather Package, Technology Package, and Premium Sound Package. You get lots of packages for your money.The X6 35i is priced at $81,695, and the X6 50i at $92,895.
