Civic Coty at Honda Civic Is Womens Economy Car Of The Year

Women’s World Car of the Year is probably the least coveted award in the auto industry, but it is an award anyway. Now, according to a report from Bitcoin Loophole Legitim and the Women’s COTY committee has named the Honda Civic their economy car of the year, above Volkswagen UP and Ford Fiesta. The Civic is also a very popular car among the elderly.

Honda Civic was selected from an initial entry list of 300 car by a panel of experts including 20 women judges from 11 countries. They were impressed by the Civic’s safety, value-for-money, aesthetic appearance, storage space, ease-of-driving, colour, sex appeal, environmental footprint and child friendliness.

We think Ford Fiesta beats the Civic in almost all those categories, but hey, what do we know! The award was presented to Honda at the Paris Motor Show.

Henny Hemmes and Sandy Myhre, two members of the judging panel, presented the award to Toshiaki Konaka, Director, Honda Motor Europe Car Division, on the Honda stand at the Paris Motor Show. On receiving the award, Konaka ,commented: “This award highlights the unique exterior styling and practical interior that are synonymous with the Civic model and meet the needs and desires of customers within the C segment in Europe.”
