Steve Saleen is back at it, announcing the new Saleen 351 Mustang based on the 2013 V8 ‘Stang. He’s coming heavy too, as the car packs a full 700 hp and 655 ft-lb of torque from a 351 cubic inch engine fitted with a Saleen 296 supercharger system.
Mustang 351 also gets 6-speed transmission equipped with a high performance Saleen clutch system, and a 3.73:1 final drive ratio. But power and speed is only half of what makes this car so interesting.
The car features a classic Saleen body kit with highlights such as Red Butterfly Center Ram Air Induction system, full carbon fiber front and side splitters, as well as a carbon fiber rear diffuser, exclusive badging and Saleen custom paint schemes.
Other bits and bobs include Saleen S4 suspension, Saleen 15″ brake package, and 20-inch Saleen 5-spoke alloy wheels wrapped with high performance tires.
