Mazda6 Prize Draw competition winner 545x340 at Mazda6 Prize Draw Competition Winner Announced

The new generation Mazda6 goes on sale in the UK from January 25, but Mazda started its publicity efforts way back in November last year. Part of the build-up for the arrival of the new 6 was a prize draw competition for those who pre-ordered their car before the end of 2012. The winner would receive the car for free.

Now, true to their words, Mazda has picked the winner and the 45-year old chartered accountant Mr Kelly Moses of Wilmslow will get his £22,525 Mazda6 SE-L Tourer free of charge.

Mazda continues to offer incentives to encourage people to buy the new sedan. All retail customers who register their car before 31 March 2013 can benefit from competitive low-rate finance,  a deposit contribution and for existing Mazda owners, a loyalty saving.

In UK the new Mazda6 is available in saloon and tourer models priced from £19,595 to £28,045. There is 36 different models to choose from when you mix the available six equipment levels (SE, SE-L and Sport – with or without Satellite Navigation) and four high-efficiency SKYACTIV diesel and petrol powertrains (from 145 to 175ps) with six-speed automatic or manual transmissions are available.

“This is a truly fantastic way to start the new year,” enthused Mr Moses.  “My wife and I agreed that the new Mazda6 is a very, very stylish car with tremendous visual appeal, especially when finished in the stunning Soul Red colour.  We are certainly pleased with our current Mazda6, but quickly decided after a brief test drive to replace it with the latest model which also has a great interior and plenty of practicality to cater for the needs of our young family.  Now, I’m really looking forward to collecting my ‘free’ brand new Mazda6 from RRG Mazda later this month.”
