This is what the ZR1 version of the new Corvette Stingray will look like, probably. This speculative rendering shows an enhanced version of the car that fits the bill for what GM may or may not have in mind for an ultra-high performance version of the C7 Corvette.
The Stingray will definitely get a super sport version, in form of the Z06, in a year or so, but a ZR1 version needs another business case and it’s too soon to start thinking about it.
This imaginary ZR1 gets revised front bumper with a large splitter and air intakes, plus LED lights that appear to be borrowed from the Mercedes CLS63. It also gets a new bonnet with a big bulge in it to make room for the supercharger that is bolted on top of the V8 motor. Buffed up fenders, new side vents, and a rear diffuser would be among the other new bits.
If a Stingray ZR1 gets the green light, it could have up to 700 horsepower.
