The all-new Mercedes CLA-Class is now available  to order in the UK with two engines and two trim levels. The CLA 180 petrol and the CLA 220 diesel an be ordered with either Sport or AMG Sport trims. Prices start from £24,355.

This car introduces Mercedes Benz to a whole new market, and also attracts a new type of customers to the brand. A lot of people would love the idea that for 25 grand they can have a brand-new Mercedes. The fact that it is a sporty four-door coupe makes it even more appealing.

Performance-wise, the CLA 220 CDI is capable of accelerating from rest to 62 mph in 8.2-seconds yet can return 62.9 mpg. Those figures for the 180 petrol are 9.3 seconds and 50.4 mpg. You can also choose what kind of suspension setup you want; sport or comfort.
