Subaru announced its lineup for the 2013 New York Auto Show, and it includes some pretty important propositions. They are bringing a new performance concept car and their first ever production hybrid based on the XV Crosstrek.

The hybrid XV is based on the popular XV Crosstrek crossover introduced for 2013, and uses a Subaru engineered Hybrid system and Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. It is no clear yet if the car gets the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine or the 1.6 liter unit as the main source of power.

As for the performance concept, there is absolutely no details available yet, but chances are it is a more powerful version of the BRZ sports car.
