Infiniti released official pricing details of its new and highly anticipate Q50 sports sedan for both British and American market. The car is offered in 3.7-liter V6 and 3.5-liter Hybrid models in the U.S., while British customers get the Hybrid and a 2.2 diesel engine to choose from. Weirdly, only in American you can have the Q50 with all-wheel-drive. It would be a nice option for Britain, but Infiniti doesn’t think so.

The normal V6 models – starting from $36,700 in the U.S. – give you access to 330 horsepower. The British diesel model is good for only 170 horsepower, but it offers a sizable torque of 400NM and it’s quite frugal. The diesel has a base price of £27,950.

The Hybrid version is the Q50 that Infiniti reckons most customers would go for. With a Direct Response Hybrid system delivering 365 horsepower, the Q50h goes form 0 to 60 mph in 5.3 seconds, while returning over 38 mpg on the highway, and emitting no more than 155g/km of CO₂.

The Q50 Hybrid starts from £40,000 in Britain, and from $43,000 in America.

The standard equipment on all Q50 models include Infiniti InTouch customisable digital environment with dual touch-screens; Infiniti Drive Mode Selector; engine stop-start; rear-view camera; Active Noise Control; Active Trace Control; dual-zone climate control; 17-inch alloy wheels; Scratch Shield paint; split folding rear-seat backrests and ski hatch; multifunction steering wheel; voice recognition system; and Bluetooth mobile connectivity and audio streaming.
