As usual, Mercedes Benz celebrates the launch of a new model by releasing an Edition 1 version. These cars are fitted with a few extra features, and they cost more than what you’d pay for a normal version. It is really only a way for the car maker to make more money, but some people like the exclusivity that it’ll buy them.

In the case of the Mercedes CLA 45 AMG, the Edition 1 version features a blacked-out grille, 19-inch lack AMG wheels, exclusive matte black stripes, a trunk lid spoiler, and red accenting on the bumpers, grilles, mirrors, and brake calipers.

Then there is the special colors available for the car, including cirrus white and night black, cosmos black metallic, mountain grey metallic, polar silver metallic or designo polar silver magno.

Inside the cabin, the Edition 1 benefits from AMG Performance seats in ARTICO man-made leather/DINAMICA microfibre with red stitching, which is also featured on the door panelling, the top section of the instrument panel, and the sport steering wheel. AMG floor mats and a couple of Edition 1 badges finish of the treatment.
