The 2013 Woodward Dream Cruise is the venue Chrysler chose to pay homage to one of its most iconic trucks of all time as it turns 10. It is the Rumble Bee, a popular model inspired by the Super Bee muscle car of the late ‘60s, coming back in form of a HEMI V8-powered Ram 1500 R/T.

The Rumble Bee Concept is based on a lightened, 2WD version of the 1500, and features the signature Drone Yellow paint job with a matte finish, garnished with a gloss black stripe that fades into honeycomb, going from front to rear, around the top of the bed and over the Mopar tonneau cover. The gloss black treatment also covers hood vents, badging, fuel door and the dual exhaust tailpipes.

The car also gets a set of gloss black, 24-inch, Vellano VRH custom wheels in places of the factory standard 22s, and has 2-inch lowered ride height thanks to King Suspension units.

As for the interior, black and Drone Yellow leather sport mesh seats with two-tone yellow/light-grey stitching, “Rumble Bee” lettering and Ram logos on the floor mats and door bolsters are the main features, but the highlight of the cabin is an actual amber-encased bee fitted to a rotary 8-speed gear knob!

The Rumble Bee’s 5.7-liter HEMI with 395 horsepower and 407 lb.-ft. of torque is connected to a sport exhaust system the comes with two buttons on the center console, marked loud and LOUDER!
