All models also get standard StabiliTrak with Trailer Sway Control, while diesel models are fitted with integrated cruise control, auto grade braking and diesel exhaust braking. The Duramax turbo diesel and 6.0L gas engine also benefit from enhanced air intake and cooling systems so they can manage to produce full power even under heavy load.
The 2015 Sierra HD, which is the newer and more luxurious one of the two, will go on sale in early 2014 in 2500HD and 3500HD models, and the Sierra Denali HD. Both trucks will be built in Ft. Wayne, Ind. and Flint, Mich.
