With only a couple of days to go until the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show where Infiniti is going to shows us a preview of their new compact model with the Q30, the company decided to release more pictures of the car as a warm up. The Infiniti Q30 is supposed to a mini crossover.

Now, crossovers themselves are a smaller version of the SUV, so what’s a min crossover, you ask? Well, according to Infiniti, this car slots between a normal hatchback and a crossover. You get the same compactness that you get from a hatchback, so it’s easy to live with, while the ride height is slightly higher, giving the car the stance of a crossover vehicle.

On top of all that, Infiniti says the design of the car brings the dynamism of a coupe to mind, what with all those flowing lines and sloping roof. This makes it more confusing to be honest. In essence, the Infiniti Q30 is a jacked-up hatchback with large wheels. That’s all there is to it.
