Now that the standard Corvette Stingray is finally on its way to the dealerships, the car community has shifted its attention to the next big thing – the high-performance Z07 model. This is a speculative rendering of what the Corvette Z07 Stingray may look like.

If the Z06 Corvette is any indication, the souped-up version of the Stingray should only get a couple of subtle styling changes over the normal model. A larger front air intake and a couple of extra spoilers, plus larger wheels, would do the job.

The designers here have gone a bit further than that and fitted their imaginary Corvette Z07 Stingray with a sizable front splitter, a pair of side skirts, and, presumably, a more prominent rear diffuser to accompany the new rear wing. All of these parts are apparently made from carbon fiber.

In other news, the Corvette Z07 Stingray is said to be getting a new 4.5 liter twin-turbo V8, which it will share with the production version of the Cadillac Elmiraj, tuned to develop over 600 horsepower. So it seems that the LT1 V8 is going to be limited to the standard Corvette, even though it’s a cracking motor.
