With only a few days remaining to the opening of this year’s SEMA tuning show at Las Vegas convention center, Chevrolet revealed what they have in store. Here we have a collection of Chevrolet Sonic Concepts for SEMA. They will be joined by tuned sedans, as well as Corvettes and Camaros, which get their own special treatments.

The tiny Sonic is the star of Chevrolet’s 2013 SEMA lineup, as it gets some nice tuning kits from some well-known personalities in the auto world. We have the Ricky Carmichael All-Activity Sonic concept, for example, which features a tricked-out 1.4 liter turbo engine, sating black paint job, and racing interior. The performance tuning kit includes high-flow exhaust, cold-air induction, suspension kit with lowered ride height, brake package with Wilwood front calipers, and 18-inch wheel-and-tire package featuring custom gloss black with green lip.

The Chevy Sonic RS concept meanwhile showcases engine performance, suspension/brakes and appearance upgrades developed by Chevrolet Performance engineers and designed to be installed by Chevrolet dealers. The package includes cold-air induction and a high-flow exhaust system allow the 1.4L turbo engine, track –tuned suspension, 18-inch, split-five-spoke wheels, as well as visual tweaks such as Lemon Peel Yellow exterior with blue graphics; tinted headlamps and fog lamps; blue-accented window moldings and rear hatch trim, and seats in black leather, with Lark Yellow contrast stitching.

Then we have the Victory Red concept Sonic representing the available customization parts for the car. They include lots of chrome parts for door handles, liftgate and mirror cap trim, exterior graphics package, sill plates and all-weather floor mats, footwell lighting system, and Kicker audio system. In terms of performance, you get Chevrolet Performance suspension kit, brake package, and 18-inch wheels. The Spark EV also gets a Tech Performance treatment, with a unique backlit Chevrolet “bowtie” emblem in the grille and performance billet aluminum wheels, sill plates, floor mats and pedal covers, and body-colored trim plates and green stitching on the shifter boot and steering wheel, as the main highlights.
