German tuner Vaeth (or VATH) announced a thorough tuning package for the Mercedes CLA 250. There isn’t much to be seen in terms of styling upgrades, apart from a couple of spoilers and some new wheels. But there’s a lot to be seen under the bonnet.

The standard CLA 250 comes with 211 hp and 350 Nm of torque, which isn’t bad at all. Still, Vaeth Mercedes CLA V25, the tricked-out version, can offer you up to 265 hp and 420 Nm. This treatment costs 4,950 EUR and includes modifications to the air filters, ECU software, and exhaust system.

There is also a ‘lite’ version with 245 hp and 390 Nm, which costs a mere 940 EUR, as it only has to do with some software trickery. It is advised to spend the extra dough and get the full-fat version, as it can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. That is pretty fast for a baby Merc with no AMG badge.

Other bits and bobs available in this package include a carbon fiber front spoiler (1,416 EUR), a tail spoiler (333 EUR), a set of 20-inch rims (2,970 EUR), leather sports steering wheel (1,297 EUR), sport instruments with a 300 kph speedo (1,535 EUR), and black velvet mats (226 EUR).
