Vilner, the well-known Bulgarian tuner, released details of their latest project which is restoring an original 1976 Corvette Stingray to tip-top condition. Actually, this is more of a restomod job, as they have made improvements where the original car was less than perfect – especially inside the cabin.

As you know Vilner is an interior guru, and for this Stingray they’ve really given it all they got. Modern instruments and gauges are wrapped in stitched leather, while Nappa is used to upholster the seats which feature a beautiful design. Coria trim pieces replace the old wood veneer, while badges and logos are laser engraved on the dash and seats.

The Corvette Stingray Restored by Vilner also gets an updated exterior with a new pearl brown paint job and targa roof wrapped in stitched calf leather. The design of the rear bumper and the chrome grilles are revised, the lights are replaced with LED units, and a briefcase made from camel leather is placed on the boot in true vintage style. The wheels remain intact in design and color.

Last but not least, Vilner improved the 5.7 liter V8 engine with new heads, camshafts, and carbs, and got 300 horsepower out of it, and installed a kicking audio system with Macintosh and Ground Zero components.
