With the F-Type Coupe Jaguar also revealed the R version of the sports car, and it’s a beast. But now that we know everything about the R, it’s time to start speculating about the next big thing, the RS or RS GT maybe. And here’s a nice preview of what it may look like, from the back at least.

To be honest though it doesn’t really matter how the car looks, because, well, it’s an F-Type. Of course it’s going to be beautiful and lustrous and sexy. What matters most to us is that how much power they are going to be car under the bonnet of Jaguar F-Type Coupe RS.

The guys at Autocar say it could get up to 700 horsepower and reach speeds in excess of 200 mph. That’s going to be quite thrilling in a car the size of the F-Type. But we can totally believe that power figure. The 5.0 liter supercharged Jag V8 is a jewel of an engine. It makes 550 horsepower in the R version without even trying. A bit of fiddling, and it can easily pump out 700 ponies or more.

Needless to say such a car would have very limited production run and the price tag would be mahoosive. But they definitely should do it, even just a technical exercise.
