Is This The Real Lamborghini Huracan?

We have seen a fair few speculative renderings of the Lamborghini Gallardo replacement, allegedly called the Huracan, since the first prototypes of the car were spotted on the road. Now we have this image surfaced on the web, claiming to be the first official shot of the car that’s leaked out of Sant’Agata Bolognese.

Even if it’s just a rendering, you have to admit it is a darn good one. Based on the latest set of spyshots taken from the actual Lamborghini Huracan, the details showcased in this picture, such as the headlights, the design of the front bumper, and the side profile, they all appear to be spot on.

You can clearly see the influence of the Aventador on the looks of the Huracan, and we have it on good authority that it continues inside as well. The Huracan features a similar fighter jet-style starter button like you find in the Aventador.

The thing is, Lamborghini has been awfully quiet about all this. They haven’t even confirmed the name yet. They also remain tight-lipped about the car’s performance specs, but rumor has it the Lamborghini Huracan is powered by a new version of Gallardo’s V10 with over 600 horsepower, mated to a dual-clutch transmission similar to the one used in the latest incarnation of Audi R8 V10.
