Infiniti continues with the slow unveiling of its new Q50 Eau Rouge concept car before the car’s debut at the 2014 Detroit Motor Show with a new picture that reveals the car’s side profile. It’s all kind of pointless, though, because the Eau Rouge is 90 percent identical to the Q50, of which we’ve seen plenty.

That said, a keen eye would notice the Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge is wider and lower than the standard car, and it features different bumper and buffed up fenders. The car boasts improved aerodynamics designed by the experts from four-time Formula One World Champions Infiniti Red Bull Racing. All the new body components are also made from carbon fiber. Only the roof and the doors have remains unchanged in the Eau Rouge.

What Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge is proposing is a lightweight, sporty version of the Q50 designed to show what’s possible. The chances of this car getting into production like this are very slim. But it the Eau Rouge could inspire a hotted-up Q50 in the future.
