It was just some sofas and a plastic trash can cut in half playing the role of dashboard, unsuccessfully. That is not the case with the latest version of the car. In fact, 2015 Cadillac Escalade’s cabin might very well be one of the best in its class.

Cadillac realized that these days just looking gangsta is not enough to sell cars. Customers expect luxury and sophistication, mainly because the Koreans showed them they can get it at a reasonable price. So they spent every effort to make sure the new Escalade stands head and shoulders above its rivals in terms of luxury and features.

2015 Cadillac Escalade boasts a handcrafted cabin featuring high-end materials such as hand-stitched and hand-wrapped supple leather, genuine wood and metal trims. Each of the three Escalade interior environments are accented by different species of genuine wood. Shale environment is paired with a gloss American Walnut; open-pore Natural Finish Elm accents the Kona Brown environment; and the Jet Black environment is complemented by low-gloss Santos Palisander wood.

Then there is the leather, wrapped and stitched on the instrument panel, center console, door panels and other interior components to highlight their sculpture. It comes from the finest materials, and requires precision cutting and top-of-the-line live stitching process, like, say, a Rolls-Royce.

The luxury atmosphere of the 2015 Cadillac Escalade cabin is further enhanced with the addition of the latest technologies, such as the CUE infotainment system and the 16-speaker Bose Centerpoint surround sound audio system.
