BMW M4 DTM Liveries 0 600x450 at BMW M4 DTM Liveries Revealed

A while ago BMW announced their new DTM contender which is based on the new M4 Coupe. We all marveled at how awesome the new race car looks, and now we are about to marvel again, as they release further images of the car in all of the racing liveries it’ll be sporting this season.

The driver lineup for the BMW M$ DTM in the 2014 season will include Martin Tomcvzyk, Bruno Spengler, Joey Hand, and former F1 troublemaker Timo Glock. These guys will be piloting the four main M4s BMW believes have a chance for winning the championship. There will four more on the grid, driven by novices.

BMW M4 DTM is powered by a 480 horsepower P66 V8 engine, and it weighs only 1,100 kg. In true DTM fashion, the car features a massive aero kit with caricaturized wings and splitters and fender flares. Inside the cabin, the driver sits way back almost on the rear axle, and uses a small F1-style steering wheel to guide the car through corners.

This year BMW M4 DTM will rival Audi RS 5 DTM and Mercedes C-Coupe. The season will kick off with an official test session in Budapest at the end of this month.
