Kia Motors released the official pictures and details of its all-new Sedona midsize MPV (multi-purpose vehicle). To Debut at the upcoming New York motor show, 2015 Kia Sedona comes with a new and brilliant design, high-quality interior, and advanced technology features.

This time’s Kia’s head of design Peter Schreyer used his genius to come up with a minivan unlike anything else in the market. 2015 Kia Sedona features a CUV like design and proportions, and a face inspired by that of Kia’s sedans and SUVs. The new model is 1.6-inches longer than its predecessor, and comes with LED taillights, standard roof spoiler, and 19-inch wheels. It’s a sports van!

Inside, all three rows of seats enjoy ample head and leg room in both seven- and eight-passenger configuration. What’s more, you get the Slide-n-Stow and First Class seating arrangement for the second row which allows you to turn the back of Sedona into a lounge.

Being a family car and therefore in constant danger from the kids, the Sedona comes with a special fabric with anti-microbial protection from spills, anti-static protection from irritating electrical shocks as well as stain-repelling and stain-releasing fabric. Meanwhile, there is a UVO Infotainment & Telematics system with lots of online features to keep the kids amused throughout the journey.

Engine-wise, in place of the old 3.5 liter the 2015 Kia Sedona comes with 3.3-liter V6 from the Cadenza sedan, boasting 276 hp and 248 lb.-ft of torque. It is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
