With exquisite cars like Pagani Huayra, even the prototypes are a matter of great interest. There aren’t that many of them around, of course, what with it being handmade and all. This is the Huayra prototype number 3, spotted for the first time in a car event in Italy, wearing a very unexquisite green wrap!

The original color of this green-wrapped Huayra – according to Marchettino, who made this video and is probably more familiar with Pagani than any motoring journalist – is matte black. It has been the personal ride of Pagani’s charismatic test driver Davide Testi.

Pagani prototype cars are treated brutally and all of them have great mileage on the clock. So you’d forgive the wrap on this Huayra. It’s probably there to cover up the bruises and scratches the car has endured during its time as a test mule.  They could have gone for a nicer color though.
