German tuner and electronics specialist MCCHIP-DKR has come up with a new kit for the new Rolls-Royce Wraith which unleashes the full potential of the most dynamic Roller ever built. The standard V12 engine in the Wraith is a mighty thing with 630 hp and 800 Nm of torque. But DKR’s version is better simply because it’s more powerful.

Thanks to some heavy electronic tweakery, MCCHIP-DKR Rolls-Royce Wraith is capable of delivering a dyno-proven 700 horsepower (697 PS) and 920 Nm of max torque. It is amazing what can be accomplished these days with few lines of code and a chip the size of a cookie. After all, 70 hp is a huge gain.

With this extra oomph the Wraith becomes faster and more agile, and overall more dynamic. Rolls-Royce pitches this car as a dynamic coupe, a driver’s car. But the car tips the scale at 2,360 kg, so theoretically it’s a driver’s barge.

Still, MCCHIP-DKR Rolls-Royce Wraith manages to get from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, and on to a limited top speed of 250 km/h. We’re sure MCCHIP can remove that limiter too if you ask them nicely.
