Mercedes AMG GT Has Hidden Dimensions!

Mercedes AMG GT Exhaust 600x300 at Mercedes AMG GT Has Hidden Dimensions!

Mercedes-AMG released a series of new videos teasing the exhaust noise of the new AMG-GT’s V8 engine. They reveal how it sounds while idling, at low rev and high rev, and all of them sound awesome. They have also come up with some interesting wave patterns to illustrate those noises.

Maybe it’s just us, but the shapes used to showcase Mercedes AMG GT exhaust noise look like complicated Calabi-Yau space. String theorists use those spaces in their quest to prove the universe has more, hidden dimensions than the known four (x, y, z, and time). So maybe it’s AMG’s way of hinting at the GT’s hidden talents!

It is not officially confirmed, but Mercedes AMG GT will almost certainly be powered by a brand-new 4.0 liter AMG V8 rated at around 500 horsepower. This engine will gradually replace the current 5.5 liter M157 unit. A dual-clutch transmission will deliver that power in the AMG GT to the rear wheels to help it accelerate form 0 to 100 km/h in approximately four seconds.
