The latest tuning package available for the Fiat Abarth 500, which is of course already tuned at the factory, comes from Pogea Racing. They have come up with a two stage power upgrade kit and a few other goodies to further domesticate this little scorpion.

Stage 1 of Pogea Racing Fiat Abarth 500 power upgrade program, which includes a tailored engine performance management software, extracts 162bhp and 275Nm of torque. Stage 2, which benefits from beefier code lines in its software, takes it up to 168 bhp and 285Nm.

The latter enables the Abarth to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds and reach a top speed of226 km/h. The cool thing is, whenever you felt you don’t need the extra power and performance, you can deactivate the kit via the sport button.

The cost of Pogea’s performance upgrade is about 919 Euros. Spend another 309 Euros, and they will hook you up with a set of 18-inch wheels and 215/35 18 tires. There is also a 330 horsepower widebody package in the works for Abarth 500, to be revealed later in the year.
