2015 Hyundai Genesis R-Spec Rendered with Borrowed Features

If the previous generation Hyundai Genesis is any indication, in due time, the new version is going to get a performance-minded R-Spec variant. The thing is, the design of the new Genesis doesn’t lend itself to a sporty treatment, which is a necessary part of every thorough upgrade package.

To try and see what would the 2015 Hyundai Genesis R-Spec look like, the guys from Auto Projecoes set about manipulating some images and this is what they’ve come up with. They apparently hit designer’s block somewhere along the way, as they resorted to borrowing features from other sportier cars to make the R-Spec look presentable.

That is how this 2015 Hyundai Genesis R-Spec gets its BMW M3/M4 front bumper. Comibined with large blacked-out grille and the blacked-out roof and mirrors, that bumper gives the R-Spec a menacing look though, complemented with lowered suspension and a set of excessively large wheels. One would imagine the car also gets a rear diffuser and maybe a small boot lid spoiler.

Engine-wise, we expect the 2015 Hyundai Genesis R-Spec to get a tuned version of the existing TAU V8 with around 450 horsepower.
