The Fast & Furious team has finished filming all the scenes for the 7th installment of the successful franchise, and it’s now to the edit room where the real work begins. Fast & Furious 7, as you may know, features a computer-generated Paul Walker.
Following Walker’s tragic death last year, the studio had to rewrite the script in order to retire his character, Brian O’Conner, in Fast and Furious 7. Paul’s scenes in the movie are partly played by his brother Cody, but it is mostly computer graphics.
Universal’s decision to retire O’Conner in F&F 7 confirms they are going to carry on without him and milk the franchise for as long as it has juice, which is fair enough. But as Walker’s co-stars have said, “it is not the same without Paul.”
Fast and Furious 7 will premiere on April 3, 2015.
