Being the ultimate car guy, Jay Leno likes to get to grips with all kinds of car culture. That’s why he attends every car show, and why he has such a diverse collection. One particular car culture Jay kinda missed out on is Lowriding, which is curious, because it’s been all happening 15 miles from where he lives!

To make up for 20 years of not noticing them, Jay invited Lowrider Magazine’s Editor Joe Ray to the garage to talk about the birth of Los Angeles’ native automotive art form. This is all you ever need to know about Lowriding:

After some chatting, Jay hits them corners in them low low’s, particularly two custom Chevy Impala low low’s brought by Chris Majera and Brandon Brusca. An interesting aspect of Lowriding, apart from all the complicated engineering of those hydraulics, is the paint job and all the exquisite chrome work on these cars. They truly are works of art.
