Infiniti released yesterday a picture showing part of a front grille of a new car. The whole thing is shrouded in mystery, which means it is a new concept car they are preparing for the next major motor show, which is the Paris Motor Show in September.

In addition to the image, Infiniti tells us the new concept is part of its soul and it will be showcased as a vision “on a scale not seen before from the company.” That’s all we have to go with for now. The good news is, the grille they are showing looks pretty good!

In other Infiniti news, the Japanese car maker has introduced a premium Q50L long wheelbase for the Chinese market. The Infiniti Q50L has an overall length of 4852mm and wheelbase stretched to 2898mm adding nicely to the rear passengers’ sense of premium comfort. That’s what wealthy Chinese businessmen want from their luxury sedans.

The Q50L is powered by Infiniti’s first 2.0-litre in-line four-cylinder gas engine that is turbocharged to 208hp and 320Nm of torque and is mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode.
