It is really hard to fault the sound of the race-bred V10 engine in the Porsche Carrera GT. But if you have owned this car for a couple of years, you may have gotten used it and want to fiddle with it a bit, just to keep things interesting. The best way you can go about doing this is by having the car’s exhaust system straight-piped.
This is a Porsche Carrera GT with decat straight pipes exhaust, and as you can hear it sound glorious. There is a downside to straight piping your car, though. It always sounds like it’s angry about something. Still, that doesn’t really matter with a car like the CGT. It is not like the standard exhaust on this car is quiet!
The Porsche Carrera GT in this video is in a magnificent company with at least three other CGTs, a couple of 918s, many 911s, and a few other exotics like Koenigsegg Agera.
