Remember this video of RM Auctions storage facility with Harry Metcalfe? Well if you do, you should also remember there was a very special Ferrari in that lot, featuring a light blue paint job garnished with France’s Tricolore. That’s the very special Ferrari 250 GT Tour de France, and Chris Harris got to actually drive it.

So this is good on many different levels. For starters, this is the first proper Chris Harris video we get in months. Then there is the car itself, which is an absolute jewel. This is also pretty much the only time you get to see a Ferrari 250 GT Tour de France in action, since there’s only nine of them in existence.

Having watched this video we now know what is the root of that magnificent light blue paint job we see these days on Scuderias and Speciales. It’s this very car and its Tour de France career. Lovely!
